Cristina María Saralegui de Ávila (nacida el 29 de enero de 1948) es una periodista estadounidense de origen cubano, personalidad televisiva, actriz y presentadora del programa homónimo en español, El show de Cristina. Antes de su carrera televisiva, trabajó durante diez años como redactora jefe de la versión en español de la revista Cosmopolitan, distribuida en toda América Latina.
Tras licenciarse en la Academia de la Asunción en 1966, Saralegui se matriculó en la Universidad de Miami. En 1973, empezó a hacer prácticas en la revista Vanidades. Esto le permitió mejorar su español escrito al nivel de su lengua hablada. En 1979, Saralegui era editora de la versión española de la revista Cosmopolitan. Continuó en este puesto durante la mayor parte de la década de 1980.
En 1989, Saralegui trasladó su éxito periodístico a la televisión, lanzando el programa de entrevistas en español de Miami, El Show de Cristina, en Univisión. Concluía cada episodio con un doble saludo con el pulgar hacia arriba y la expresión cubana “Pa’lante, pa’lante, pa’tras ni pa’ coger impulso”, (“Adelante, adelante; no des un paso atrás, ni para coger impulso”… también podría entenderse como “coger impulso”)[2].

The Minister of Transportation, Eduardo Rodríguez Dávila informed that as of November 15, the air frequencies connecting Cuba with the rest of the world will increase to more than 400 a week, in correspondence with the gradual increase of international mobility and the epidemiological behavior in the country.
He added that the nation’s main airports have been preparing for this moment, because “although it is true that the air terminals have never been closed”, they only received a minimum amount of people.
He informed that all air terminals have free internet connection for 30 minutes and that an application will be approved for passengers to complete the information currently requested in written form, now in digital format.
As regards the requests made by the airlines to travel to Cuba, Rodríguez Dávila said that they have tried to distribute them throughout the country, since not all the people who travel wish to do so to Havana.

by the way, six days have passed since the crash on Russian soil of the presidential plane of POLAND in which its president and the rest of the passengers and the crew died… …rest in peace… and, the Polish nation has not confirmed ANY of the explanations of the crash provided by putin and his boys…. …NONE of the information about the accident, not even those resulting from the analysis of the black boxes.
